A friend of mine asked me this question recently. Below I'm sharing what I think is appropriate to do at an MBA fair:
I would dress business formal. Look at the list of exhibitors and see if there are schools you're particularly interested in. Think about questions you'd like to know the answer to and don't necessarily try to impress them - they have hundreds of students walking by and the chances of them remembering you are marginal. I always grab a card though and scribble on the back topics I discussed with that person, then follow up with them. They're more likely to remember you that way and can also serve as point of contact for the particular school. As an aside, most booths are manned by alumni and assistant admissions directors so tailor your research/questions accordingly. |
