The issue mentioned above is so complex and controversial that different people may have diverse opinions based on their distinctive education backgrounds, emotional concerns, personal experience, value, culture and so forth. Some many argue that in a classroom the quality of teachers is much more important than that of students. While others may hold opposite views that the quality of students is more effective learns. From my perspective, after pondering on this knotty concern I hold the position the quality of teachers is more efficient learns at a classroom.
In the first place, all we all know, teachers are an indispensable role in education of children and youngsters. Children may be taught by their parents or families during their little age at home, but when they reach the age to go to school to learn more knowledge, teachers become an crucial factors in their growth. "Good teacher, good students" a saying popular in my country. A patient and wise teacher can teach students what is wrong or right, what the world looks like, and how to grow to a successful figure.
In the second place, learns at a classroom is affected by many factors, such as facilities, environment. The most important factors is not objective, the quality of the people engaged in the activities at a classroom is more remarkable. In class, teachers show what to learn, how to study and where is the original of knowledge. They are the main focus in a classroom which is expected by numbers of naive and honest eyes.
Coincidently, here is a general investigation conducted by a research team led by Professor Zhu in my university, his team interviewed two-third students in most of cities junior schools, discovering that these interviewed students attribute efficient learns at a classroom to their teachers who give and tell them what they need to know. Hence my conclusion is not mere proverbial wisdom but a fact supported by empirical action.
In the third place, admittedly, we cannot deny the role of students themselves. Study from a local newspaper shows that learns among good quality of students are more effective and efficient than among normal levels of students. According to Li Lei, a student in Jupier High School, he will be more aggressive and positive if his classmates or partners are better than him. He may feel competition among classmates, and then everyone in a class wish to learn better than another. As a result all students benefit from this competitive situation.
In conclusion, due to the above stated reasons, which sometimes correlate with each other to generate a integral whole and thus become more convincing than any single one of them, we may be comfortable to say that efficiency learns in class more depends on the quality of teachers than that of students although the quality of students cannot be denied completely. 这是我自己写的,恐怕有点走题! |
