Admission to this year's MS accounting program will be highly competitive. We have reserved only 15 seats for international students. Therefore, we will be looking for applicants who have strong undergraduate GPA's, GMAT and TOEFL scores.
With regards to your questions below, please see my response directly following each of your questions.

I do want to add that seating will be very limited this fall semester due to a large number of our own undergraduate accounting students entering into the program. If you do apply to Binghamton, you may want to consider other U.S. programs as well.
1. Does the programme require previous working exeperience or/and Bachelor's degree in Accountancy? Can students with no such working exeperience and accounting degree apply for the programme?[Wheeler, Alesia] While work experience is preferred, it is not required. Students may pursue the program even though they do not possess and undergraduate degree in business or accounting.
2. Can I take the prerequisite courses after I have been admitted and before the beginning of the term(for example,the summer session before the fall semester)?[Wheeler, Alesia] you may undertake the background coursework while enrolled in the MS accounting program.
3. Can I submit all the required financial document(for examplefficial bank letter,your required "financial statement" and etc.) after I have been admitted and the university are preparing to issue me the I-20 form? Will such missing document delay my review of admission?[Wheeler, Alesia] You will not be "officially" admitted to the program until you have provided the financial statement. However,we can make a recommendation to the Graduate Admissions Office for your admission--at which time they would send you an e-mail requiring the financial statement being sent before they can send you an I-20.
4. What's the minimum GMAT score requirement? If there's no minimum GMAT score requirement,what's the average GMAT score of last year's students?[Wheeler, Alesia] This year's class average is 636.
5. What's the TOEFL requirement for international students? Or IELTS?[Wheeler, Alesia] A minimum score of 590 is required, or 7.5 IELTS score
6. How long is the programme? 1 year or 2 years?[Wheeler, Alesia] If you do not have any background in accounting or business, it will take you approximately 2.5 to complete the program.
