虽然能选对答案C但不明白作者给出的解释，望大家指导，谢谢！

b项landfills和air虽然都是名词，但垃圾掩埋和空气概念不等         为什么不理解

d项pollution和incinerators(焚化装置)概念不对等                      为什么不理解

e项water和incinerators概念不对等                                    为什么不理解

easy to understand.
in b, if you see being structure, generally it is wrong.
in c, the sentence structure is well balanced ie the pollution of xxx by xxx to the pollution of xxx by xxx
in e, passive structre is used first, then follwed by active structure, not balanced.

其实我也是这样识别的，所以选了C，但作者给出的解释弄得我一头雾水，不明白他所谓的概念不对等，毕竟人家没有指形式（结构）不对等，迷茫啊~

因为是danger of shifting environmental problems,是环境问题,什么是环境问题?pollution=环境问题,但绝不能光说air,incinerators,water是环境问题

作者的意思是water=air他们都是被污染的
landfill=incinerator,他们都是垃圾处理方式
                             pollution和哪个都不相关
