Salaries in Canada are generally lower than in USA across all industries. If you want a higher salary, you should definitely relocate to USA. But if you have a family already, relocation is a much bigger decision.
60k is really nothing in canada. (im making too much too, )....living expense is comparable to most other big cities in north america....i can't even save a penny every month...hehe....an mba is the easiest way to increase your salary...i dont wanna wait too long, so i will go for a FT one...but i think PT will do the trick too...
PT programs you can consider Stern, Kellogg or Booth. It will be tiring and expensive (if your employer won't pay). If you are still young and have no family (or have a family that can relocate) then why not try a FT program?
If you can successful find a job then you can probably double your salary. Your opportunity cost is pretty small.
