老夫聊发少年狂：大伯级MBA APPLICANT求定位！

只要自己不后悔，追逐自己的梦想，让自己走走自己的路，别人走别人的路去吧。

关于定位，个人觉得：若有机会的话，可多咨询那些已在你想从事行业的资深人士，那样可能更具建设性和代表性。

考虑到各种最坏结果后，就赶紧积极申请。毕业之后的事，谁也说不准，有很多运气成分在里面，最不济的话，就自己干自己的么。

个人拙见，仅供参考！
-----来自同样年纪比较大但比你小点，并明年开始自己的MBA课程学习的小人物。

It is so unbelievable unless you have some really special reasons, e.g. not less than avoiding jail sentences, political persecutions.  

If your business is good, then you better to run it well rather than giving it up. I never see any business person say that connections is not important and place academic merit in front of it, even the most prominent professors.

If you think you are smart, you better to do a Doctorate, i.e. Yale School of Divinity, I am sure our fellow friend, iammad, will be able to find you some information on this.

Otherwise, it is a very bad idea to go full-time. In U.S. the difference between EMBA and MBA is not great. People in your age group do fly/drive a long distance to attent classes. Try EMBA-Global, Europe and America, if you are seeking asylum, there are some big boss in the class and may be sympathic to your situations.

If you have a turnover above USD250M, it save a lot more time and effort to do the Harvard AMP.

I hope that you will become more sensible.

国内读书的人都年轻化。但是国外这个年纪尚可，楼主要对自己有信心

周围很多和你类似背景的同事，都是EMBA的。很少听说去读MBA。

我们的生活很多时候都是由自己潜意识的兴趣造成的，你过去20年所有有意的无意的选择都造成了现在的你，而决定你做那些选择的判断标准也很有可能不会改变。

年轻的申请人有无数的理由说， 我改变了对生活对职业的看法，可是你的事业已经发展了十几二十年， 为什么你到现在才想念MBA？你改变的理由是什么呢？

商学院找的是，至少他们希望是，未来在某些领域能有突出成就和贡献的人，可是如果你有能力成功，你肯定已经达到一定高度， 为什么要念MBA？ 如果你还没有成功，怎么又能让他们相信你未来会成功呢？

实话是，历年top MBA program不会录取您这么大年龄的。而且毕业找工作，比你的同学大15岁却在申请类似的职位，你认为会有什么优势么？
