I was turned down by Kellogg today. Like what you guys said, it's strange to get the decision today cuz it said that the status would be updated only twice a week, on Tuesday and Friday (Now it's Thursday night in Chicago). And did anyone who applied to Kellogg find that their procedure is quite a mass? I conducted the interview in Hong Kong on January 6th with an Alumni, who told me that she submited the report right after we met. However, Kellogg sent me a letter on February 25, saying that I could waive the interview. What a joke! Then I contact them several times and finally I was told they did have my report! And you know what? My boyfriend is a Kellogg MBA graduate and the Alumni who interviewed me was his classmate!
Anyway, I decided to take U Of Michigan's offer. Frankly speaking, they have the best customer service among the three schools I applied (another one is Yale). You can feel that they really care about the students and are very considering.
Good luck to you all! Forget about Kellogg. Just like a brother (or sister?)said, no big deal. Life still moves on.
Thank you, at3. I am fine. The only thing I like about Kellogg is that they have the best marketing courses and it's more prestigious. I've read the original copy of PRINCIPLES OF MARKETING by Philip Kotler and it's really wonderful.
