To thecow10000:
Thank you!
As you mentioned, "Your chance of getting into top 15 MBA is slim without working experience." Other
schools are not worth applying? For example, UIUC, USC and UW-Madison,
I feel like the MBA is much better than MAcc of those schools, I want
to give it a shot anyway.

Here is the reason why I prefer to
study rather than work at this point. I'm quite reluctant to work in
the downturn. I don't think two years working experience will make
great difference. Two years later, the economy may pick up, and I will
become a more competitive candidate in the job market and have a higher
starting point. I really really want to go abroad right now. And my
family want it badly too!  I may disappoint them if I give up.

I guess MSF is more suitable for me. I'd like to focus on MSF application this month. However, if it is true that "Your chance of getting into top consulting is close to 0 with an education from 16+ ranked, MSF, or Master of Accounting."
I need to rethink about it, because firstly, only a few top 50 schools
have MSF, I cant guarantee that I will get ad from the best ones. What
can I do? There's no way out?

Those are my thoughts, admittedly,
sound kind of stupid to you guys. Please point it out if there is anything
wrong.  I post my problem here to communicate with experienced elites, and to seek for solution. I have gotten better perspective into MBA through this discussion. I appreciate your time and all the suggestions

How can you contribute to the MBA class?
Why should we hire you?

We have different perspectives and I don't know if it's fair to tell you don't even consider 30+ MBA schools.  You will have a tough time finding a good job (or just a job) in the US without a top 15 MBA today or 2 years later.  I don't know how prestigious non top-30 MBAs are in China.

MSFE is easier to get in as long as you get 800 on GMAT math and have some quantitative and programmming course work.  But what do you want to do with it?  Most people come out of the program wanting to do trading in IB or Hedge Fund.  In today's market, you will be lucky to get a quant or programming job at a rating agency or accounting company.  Very very few people graduating with MFE will end up in a good hedge fund or top IB. No more than 50% of people at top programs like Cornell and CMU's MFE programs have offers (and mainland Chinese is not going to beat that average).  I don't think any of ones that have offers have consulting offers.

I can't say anything for master of accounting.  During the good times it was relatively easy for people to find jobs.
