该文章的第一段偶始终没看懂，主要是有两个句子（红色部分），请赐教。

1.openness (of its ruling elite) to entry by self-made entrepreneurs .统治精英向白手起家的企业家开放入口，able为形容词，有能力，able to....修饰entrepreneurs.


2.such     as为固定结构，as....为major events的内容。

第二句经你一提，才发现有这么个结构，当时是看昏头了。但是第一句我总觉得to entry


    后面是by sb.看上去很别扭，从句子结构看entry 应该是名词，那应该用for更合适些，如果是by, 则理解entry是动词，那也应该是done by sb的结构，这又与to矛盾（无论to理解为不定式还是介词），你说呢？
