求PREP上两道DS题

If x and y are integers greater than 1， is x a multiple of y？

（1）3y^2+7y=x

(2) x^2-x is a multiple of y

答案好象是A吧, 为什么呢, 由(1)得 y(3y+7)=x说明要么y是x的因数, 要么(3y+7)是x的因数, 不能说明x一定是y倍数啊....

还有一道

Of the 60 animals on a certain farm, 2/3 are either pigs or cows. How many of the animals are cows?

(1)The farm has more than twice as many as cows as pigs

(2)The farm has more than 12 pigs

2/3不是猪就是牛, 那么就是40头不是猪就是牛咯, 那还有20头是什么呢?怎么觉得是E呢....大家帮忙....快考了....

(1) 因式分解 y(3y+7)=x，x/y=3y+7。 由于y是整数，所以3y+7也是整数，得出x是y的倍数。

(2) 还有20头不用考虑。只要看40头或猪或牛的畜生就可以了。C+P＝40 

由条件1可得c>2p，左右同时＋p，可得c＋p>3p，即3p<40，p<13.33，但这样无法确定c的数量。

由条件2可得p>12，也无法确定c的数量。

联立1、2，可得p唯一等于13，那么c有唯一的答案14。
