很丢脸的来问2 道数学题目，Data Sufficiency的题目

都是XDF补充教材上的~

 

1.A jewelry dealer initially offered a bracelet for sale at an asking price that would give a profit to the dealer of 40 percent of the original cost.

What was the original cost of the bracelet?

(1) After reducing this asking price by 10%, the jewelry dealer sold the bracelet at a profit of $403

(2)The jewelry dealer sold the bracelet for $1953

答案是A  我选的是D~

条件（1）是没有问题啦~问题是条件（2）

条件（2）的意思不就是说140%X=1953？（设原价为X）

不是应该很容易就得到了X的值吗？为什么不对呢？

 

 

2.On a certain date, Hannah invested $5000 at X percent simple annual interest and a different amount at Y percent simple annual interest.

What amount did Hannah invest at Y percent simple annual interest?

这道题目，题干就会有看懂

X就是年利率，怎么又多出了个Y？ amount at Y percent simole annual interest 是什么东西？

怎么数学还会有不会做的题目，哎，丢脸丢脸~~~
