Tippie Phone Interview and Got the Offer

Just finished phone interview of Tippie. Interviewer: Ms. Mary Spreen,     Director of Admission. Nice. Like a chat.



Questions:


1. Resume questions.


2. How do you think about the leadership? What do you think a leader should have?


3. What do you think a qualified team member should have?


4. Introduce about my latest employer.


5. Why do you want to take MBA?


6. What do you think are the most difficulties for your MBA study? (New)


I told her honestly, first is the language, second is I should prepare for the study in a University environment because I have left campus for many years.


7. What's your plan    after graduation from    MBA?


8. What do you think are the most important factors that lead you to your previous working success?


9. Questions? I asked about the placement of Tippie. Mary honestly told me it is the most difficult time for international students hunting jobs now in US in recent 5-10 years, not only because of the soft economy, but also because of the policy of the US government    for non-citizen job hunters.


The questions were asked randomly. It seems there is no fixed format for questions. Most of them are based on my experience and resume. I like such kind of interview because it was really saying about you, not the everyone.


Decision will be made next week. Hope you guys lucky in future' interviews of Tippie.
