这题选B，削弱的是average number of on-the-job accidents peremployee each month should be lower ，我懂了，可是我想选D，

我觉得它削弱了less money is available for safety precautions andmachinery maintenance.然后又因为这两部分是用and连接的，所以我认为既然B对，D就没理由不对，请教各位NN我究竟错在哪里呢？

D 有些无关，safety award并不等同于money spent at the factory for safety precautions
and machinery maintenance,也不能说明这个钱花的少了。

好比说

我花在吃糖多时，花的预防蛀牙上的钱多。所以呢吃糖多时我的蛀牙应该更少了，并且我在预防蛀牙上花的少了。那么D选项是说我每个月给我的牙又上了份保险，这是和预防牙齿的钱是没关系的，也不能影响我的蛀牙情况~~~

我也不知道我举的例子行不行，总之我感觉这个题的逻辑就像是由于害怕蛀牙我狂刷牙后来发现自己牙齿状况很好又不想像以前那样狂刷牙了一样

and machinery maintenance”而写的。

conclusion是什么呢？——average number of on-the-job accidents per
employee each month should be lower...
        

那么对结论引发doubt的，就是使这个average number不降反升。

题干翻译是这样的：
当工厂需求高时，比需求低时会有更多的钱花在工厂安全预防和机器维护上。

less money is available for时说预算就那么多，需求高的时候用的多，自然留下的就少。

C选项说的是“安全奖金用的多”，只能证明“钱用的多，留下的少”，不能够削弱的
