GWD4道数学题不明白，求解，谢谢

1. A. B and C each drove 100-mile legs of 1 300-mile course at speeds of 40, 50, and 60 miles per hour, respectively. What fraction of the total time did  A drive?

2. In a student body the ratio of men to women was 1 to 4. After 140 additional men were admitted, the ratio of men to women became 2 to 3. How large was the student body after the additional men were admitted?

3. A milliner bought a job lot of hats, 1/4 of which were brown. The milliner sold 2/3 of the hats including 4/5 of the brown hats. what fraction of the unsold hats were brown?

4.Working independently, Tina can do a certain job in 12 hours. Working independently. Ann can do the same job in 9 hours. If Tina works independently at the job for 8 hours and then Ann works independently, how many hours will it take Ann to complete the remainder of the job?

试着回答一下后面三题，因为没有答案，也不知道对不对，给你参考，第一题读不懂……

2，设男生人数x 女生人数y，x/y=1/4, (x+140)/y=2/3,然后解方程就可以解出男生和女生的人数，然后再加一起就好了

3、这题啊，我是直接套数字，设总数是300（因为好算），就有75个棕色帽子，卖掉200，包括75*（4/5）就是60顶棕色帽子，然后再用60除以100

4，t12小时做完，即每小时做1/12，a9小时，即每小时做1/9，那么t做8小时就做了8*(1/12)也就是2/3，剩下1/3，再用剩下的除以a每小时做的，就可以了，如果没错的话答案是3小时

最好把答案发上来啊，我也验证一下我对了没，呵呵，刚刚被prep数学打击了，不知道自己还能不能做对题……

应该是（75-60）/100就对了

第一题，题意是abc三个人轮流以自己的速度开100mile，一共把1300mile开完，a开了5次，bc各开四次，a开一次用2.5小时，b用2小时，c用5/3小时，最后算a开的时间占总时间的比例，理解了题意应该就不难了吧，呵呵

1.三个人接力赛，A用时比为100/40/(100/40+100/50+100/60)=30/74

第一题都是15/37，公式跟6楼一样

第二题我的结果是420，公式跟二楼的一样，但结果跟三楼的不同

第三题我也算得3/20，关键是对这句的理解：The milliner sold 2/3 of the hats including 4/5 of the brown hats，我认为是卖了总数的2/3的帽子，其中包括棕色帽子的4/5，并不是卖出的帽子中有4/5是棕色的，因为这样就跟第一个条件：1/4 of which were brown矛盾了，相当于，卖出的棕色帽子＝（2/3）*（4/5）＝8/15大于1/4，不合理。我的做法：未卖出的棕色帽子/未卖出的帽子总数＝{（1/4）*〔1-（4/5)]}/[1-(2/3)]=3/20
