这篇觉得例子好像少了点.之前也练了几篇,可是发现每次重写一遍都会有新思路, 185篇还是觉得太多了,有没有什么好的分类方法可以把这些题目分类的? 

Topic: It is generallly agreed that society benefits from the work of its memebers. Compare the contributions of artists to society with the contributions of scientists of society. Which type of contribution do you think is valued more by your society?

In most people’s mind, art and science are two products of the development of human society, which have no intersections between each other. People pursing an art career, are often regarded as romantic and imaginative; people working on science, however, generally have an image as is rigid, severe and abstract-minded. Concerning the issue whether art outweighs science or science makes more difference than art, different people may reach their own conclusion. In my point of view, it is rather difficult to say one totally outperforms another because both have really contributed to making our life different.

 

Art brings us the enjoyment of aesthetic which can not be leaked from our daily life. One psychologist has conducted a research showing that happiness is the ultimate goal that every person pursues during lifetime. Without happiness, people’s life turns out meaningless and hopeless. Art is just such a thing that can always bring happiness to us human beings. This can be seen from the fact that circuses, theatres, galleries and museums are always people’s favorite places to spend their leisure time. It is upset and miserable to imagine a life without art’s company.

 

Science gives us wisdom to understand the world. Not only has the countless knowledge enlightened human society and made us lead a gradually comfortable life, but also the thought of science has provided us with the concept of structures, procedures and methods, which all benefit human’s further progress. Rigid though science is, it indeed brings us a colorful life. It is science that saves millions of patients from suffering diseases; it is science that sends our astronauts into the moon to explore the universe; it is also science that makes us clear of our origins in ancient times. Without science, the whole world might still be dark in the night.

 

Therefore, both art and science are dispensable for human’s life. People source happiness from art while they resort to the wisdom of science.
