Red

My favorite color is red. It is a traditionally cherished color in our country for thousands of years. Usually, every spring festival, we like to decorate our homes in red, from the door, the walls to the windows. It means prosperity and happiness. I like the red clothes too. When I am in red, I feel like I am full of energy and cheerful all the time. This color can absolutely help me ward off depression and pessimism. What’s more, red is the background color in our national flag. I love my country and l love red as well.

My favorite jewelry is a jade necklace my mom got in a temple about ten years ago. It looks amazing. At night, it gleams beautifully. I can also use it as a small flashlight in dark. More importantly, it is a mascot to ward off evil and ad`versity from me. Actually, its function has been proved for several times. One day last summer, a car was rushing at me when I crossed the road. The driver didn’t see me and I almost got hit by the car. That was really close! In the end, however, I was safe and sound! Believe it or not, I guess it’s got something to do with the necklace. I love it!

My favorite advertisement is the latest version of coco cola ad. I love it very much. First, I like the amusing plot in it. In fact, I laugh every time when I see it. Surely, it helps me relax and relieve the pressure from work and study. Also the stars in the advertisement are all so gorgeous and charming, including Yao Ming, Jay Chou, Leo and so on. I couldn’t stop looking at them when the ad shows up on the screen. In addition, the theme song in the ad is really interesting. The melody sounds nice and the lyrics are funny too. I hope they could come up with more great advertisements like this in the future.

It’s so soothing that it can help me relax and relieve the pressure from work and study. More importantly, I get acquainted with my first boyfriend who shares the same love for the song. Dumplings in the restaurant in people’s park

My favorite dish is dumplings, more spe`cifically, the dumplings in the restaurant of people’s park. The dumplings are made with some special secret recipe. Obviously, it firmly grasps our hearts. It is so popular: each and every customer there think it is unique and very delicious so that it deserves waiting in lines sometime, especially weekends. In addition, they’ve got all kinds of flavors, beef, pork, chicken etc. Nothing among them fails to make my mouth watering. Besides, the shapes of the dumplings are of all sorts and extraordinarily cute, for instance they have round, crescent, cy`lindrical and even conic ones! My friends and I always order all kinds of dumplings and we are nuts about the latest ones.

Dog

My favorite animal is dog. I love dog very much. One great thing about it is that it can keep my company when my family and friends are not around. Taking care of a dog, walking it on the streets or in the park will definitely give me lots of fun and relieve my loneliness. Another point worth mentioning is its ability in daily life. When I don’t feel like getting up for something, I could ask the dog to fetch them for me, like the drinks, cup, shoes etc. It is very smart and capable. I guess the worst weather is the summer sizzler.
        In a very hot sunny day, I can’t even open my eyes in the intense sunshine. I am sweating all the time. The sweat makes me stink. So I may go for a shower in the bathroom. It is fine at the start, but soon I begin to sweat again. It’s so annoying. Besides, I can’t play basketball and other sports games with friends because it’s just too hot. Staying in the room with air-conditioner is cool but I might get a cold every now and then. This weather is such a pain in the neck.

My favorite band is called Ultraviolet. It is composed of three gorgeous girls. They are not only pretty but also talented. Each of them can play three kinds of musical instruments. Normally, one sing, one play the piano and the third play the violin. They are good at both the classical music and the popular music. Their songs are original. The melody is composed by band altogether, it sounds nice and very catchy. The lyrics are also very meaningful and interesting. I never miss any a single one of their shows.

Sprain ankle

I am gonna talk about the time when I sprained my ankle and how my roommate took me to see the doctor. One day last summer, I accidentally broke my ankle while I was playing basketball. It soon swelled up and I couldn’t move a single step. My roommate told me to sit on the ground and then she got an ice chunk and applied it to my ankle. After that, she called a cab to pick me up and we went to the nearest hospital. In the hospital, she asked for a wheelchair for me and carried me to the doctor’s office and in the end she fetched the drug for me. Thanks to her, I fully recovered several weeks later.
