At Darden, a half-dozen faculty members have expressed interest in creating paid research assistant jobs for students. 那位同学是说90%的中国人都找到了.这里说的40%还在找的人基数是所有的1'st students.并不矛盾啊.

I am helping him recently. He said after worked at IT counsulting for two years he came to pursue his MBA, then he lost job.

我在Tuck读一年级,可以提供一些真实情况: 首先,90%回中国并不是真实数据,Tuck总共才8个中国人,拿到美国offer的至少有两个,现在基本都找到实习,只是还在挑选而已.本人拿到一个美国VC和美国在上海的一家Boutique IB.现在在等一个PE的offer.我很可能最后会去上海.并不是每个人都愿意留在美国.用留美国的百分比来计算实习的情况没有太大意义. 美国经济这么差,你留下来干吗? 现在很多外国同学都想学中文,恨不得能到中国找工作.

经济不好的时候,你找工作要看个人以前的经验和背景,学校对你的帮助有限.Tuck到底怎么样,我不便评论,但是有一条,Tuck校友的帮助程度和作用 (包括在中国的校友),我相信没有任何一家其他Bschool可以比,当市场没有工作的时候,校友会想办法创造一份工作.

我们都没有忽悠，Darden有11个中国一年级学生，9个已经找到，其中5个在美国，4个回中国。所有一年级学生中，现在60%+找到了intern，跟所有top school的比例差不多

我说的是90%中国一年级学生。不知你问的insider是怎样的insider，但很明显他（她）不了解情况。在美国做intern的5个人中两个是在Fortune 500 company做corp finance，我在Fortune 500 company做LDP，一个在DC的consulting firm，一个在Boston的middle market investment bank.

有些人没本事读美国的MBA，就会说风凉话，说现在在美国读MBA怎么怎么不好，这些人我看就是SB。

兄弟，这个论坛本来就是提供空间让大家来讨论的。请不要用侮辱词汇。你有你的梦想，我说是事实。我在美国已经有n年，今年的就业市场是从来没有的差。以前Boston/NYC地区猎头不断打电话找我跳槽。现在近半年都没人理我。每天看看careerbuilder上的工作全是accounting，taxation，没有一个和金融相关的。有几个新加入的同事年初都给laid off了，其中就有名校的mba. 

我只是说‘现在’读mba不好，可是说实话可能让你感觉不爽。读MBA完全就是门投资生意，花钱买个名校摆在简历上、进场退场时机很重要。对我来说，近$30万的成本，能不小心吗。

退一万步说，我们申请的pool是不同的，所以你无需担心我会抢了你的位置。今年我就申请一家非M7的，很快就收到Offer。但是想想2年后的就业市场的不稳定，还是放弃了。年纪大了，求稳。如果你今年申请，祝你成功。
