1: do not know the lowest price; could be 2, or 5,8, as long as it is in the 2-20 range

2: do not know the highest price; could be 80,90,100, as long as it is in the 80-100 range

(1)+(2): know the highest and lowest; so the range is 91-12=79

so the answer should be C
