3.3	Do you agree or disagree with the following statement? Most people prefer others making decision for them than making a decision for themselves.

Even though as the saying goes, the person inside is puzzled while the one outside is clear, I maintain to consider myself as the person who understand me completely. As the new generation of 21 century, I think the self-decision should be ready. So the following essay will illustrate my point of view from the interest and the importance of the ability.

 

the people always come to be acquainted with me from the different sides. Therefore they can not understand my interest and characteristics profoundly and comprehensively.

Obviously the decision they make for me is not quite appropriate more or less. So I want to be myself and follow my heart as well. For example, when choosing the university i would attend ,I took thorough consideration of my interest and my future and made the big decision for myself eventually while the teacher and parents merely gave me some advices to refer. Admittedly, the result was my favorable which encouraged me working hard.

 

Moreover, self-decision is not only the individual habit but also the essential ability of leadership or grown-up virtually. As an adult, you need take responsibility of both the family and the society. In most time, you must depend on yourself rather than others. to some extent you will make decision for others ,such as your children. Consequently the self-decision means more than ability but a kind of duty. A leader, the same as the parents in the family, controls the direction of the company's future. A correct and steadfast decision is most likely to improve or even change the fate of the company. If a leader is prone to hesitance and blind to others opinion, the consequence will range from impairing the efficiency of the production to missing the great opportunity.

 

Admittedly, it is true that listening to others’ advice and taking serious consideration is benefit for our making decision. After all, the more experience, the more achievement. However this alone does not provide sufficient support to claim that self-decision is unnecessary.

 

All in all, although some people may still remain unconvinced, the reasons I have analyzed could at least make them more aware of the various dimensions of the issue under discussion. There is little doubt that more and more people will come to realize that the self-decision is essential for everybody.
