The materials  on which questions are based are drawn from a variety of sources. "The GMAT test doesn't suppose any familiarity with the subject matter of those materials "

这两句想表达的意思类似，就是说，考试的文本段落中可能会涉及各领域的内容，但是本考试并不要求你事先对这各个领域的内容都有所了解。言外之意是，你无需理会你本身有没有所考试段落中出现知识内容的相关储备，只要根据它所能提供的信息去答题就完全ＯＫ，其实这也正是考试想要考察的能力。

但我发现事先了解题目所考相关领域的知识还是大大有助于做题哦
