5月9号考,今天写了第一篇,吐血啊写不好,写到后面都不知道在写什么了。求拍。求狠拍。 TWE11(051108) o you agree or disagree with the following statement? Universities should give the same amount of money to their students' sports activities as they give to their university libraries. Use specific reasons and examples to support your opinion. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- According to a recent servey on the internet, college students are generally lacking of physical exercise and some of them are facing healthy problems because of the high pace of the life. There is a growing awareness of the importance of students' sports activities. Sports is good not only for student's health, but also for their sense of teamwork and activity altitude toward life. From my own perspective, universities should give the same amount of money to their students' sports activities as they give to their university libraries. First of all, doing sports makes students healthier. Like the old saying goes, "Health is over wealth." Usually, after an entire day of hard working, what students need is not reading books for another hour or working on one more puzzle, but relaxing themselves and getting some fresh air. While doing some sports activities, they can forget the pressure for a moment and keep strong by the phycial exercise. And, of course, activities will bring them good mood and help them do better in the following courses' learning. Take the students in my university for example and I think that's way there are always so many students doing different kinds of sports on the playground after classes. Personal experience leads me to conclude that students benifit a lot from sports. Secondly, doing sports activities helps to cultivate students' sense of teamwork and optimistic altitude toward life. In many types of sports, especially ball games such as football and basketball, players should coorperate with other team members. The sense of coorperation, which is essential in a game, is also significant to their learning in college and their professional career after graduating. Besides, win and loss always comes after a game. By sports games students can learn to try their best to achieve their goals and face the result whether it's cheerful or not. Never give up and one will finally win. That is just the character that people appreciate. By participating in sports, a student can get a optimistic altitude, which, perhaps will become a key to success in life. However, each coin has two sides. If universities give the same amount of money to their students' sports activities as they give to their libraries, they will not be able to use this amount of money in other aspects like fundmental facilities and teachers' salaries. So if the money is limited, it'll be better to distribute the fund appropriately. In collusion, I hold the opinion that universities should pay much attention to their students' sports activities. If the money is enough, they should give the same amount of money to it as they give to their libraries. Otherwise, they can distribute the money and give the most attention they can to their students' sports activities. |
