I am not sure what you mean "今年试着申请了几所".
If you are realling considering PhD, you should apply schools with strategy.
"试着" doesn't help in this case.
GMAT 750 is more than enough, 50 for math is good enough.
"野鸡大学" and "教授是个很牛的人" is a unlikely combination, so please be realistic.

So taking a class in summer might be an option.
I am not sure which school you are at.
But for many public schools, taking less than 6 credit in summer only costs you in-state tuition.

有钱的话选1.其实1也没什么大用处。证明你数学能力的话，去上上phd level的计量微观就行了，对你将来读书也有用。

因为今年是寒假的时候才决定的，只申请了三所还没截止的。其实初衷是打算申明年的。

I am at the College of William and Mary。其实这个学校并不好申，但却听说过的人很少。希望教授不要把我当野鸡大学的就好。

这位math professor在自己的领域很厉害，funding超多，算是小学校里的大牛吧。只是申acct phd,人家只看学校，肯定不了解教授。

W&M is indeed a good school.

As for the professor, as long as he can give you strong recommendation, it should be helpful.

申请accounting的。我们学校商学院没有phd program,我的OPT只够选summer课的，phd level的计量有summer开的吗？

Assuming you don't running into the trouble of OPT timing, choose 1.

Focus on the RA part but not the math part in Option 1. Get more research experience and get good/better RLs - that is more important than Linear Algebra or PDE (by the way, do you guys really need PDE in accounting?) Again, by the way, 2500 for a course is not expensive...

Also, like banzhu said, if you have not had Econometrics yet, try to do this before application. This is more important than Linear Algebra. The best option is to have Econometrics from the econ department (try at least the mater level), but maybe they won't offer this kind of courses in the summer...

the rls should be written by those (well) known in the accounting area.
From your backgournd, I only saw two things valuable: accounting master and 750GMAT.
