feedback to inquiry about application status from the program:

"Our committee was impressed by your credentials, and you ranked high on our list of applicants.  We have a few details to resolve and should be able to provide you with an update within the next couple of weeks.  Thanks for your patience."

What does it mean? Any one has such kind of experience or comments? Thanks.

没，就是告诉你他们学校还惦记着你，应该是在waiting list前几位。建议楼主如果有别的offer就告诉他们，让他们快决定，不然你就跟别人了。没有offer的话也可以跟同一个级别的学校问你的申请情况怎么样，说你在别的学校top2的waiting list上，快决定，不然就跟那家了。反正这一个waiting list很有用
