There is a huge difference between top1% and top1. Don't boast too much. Top 1% can also be respected by others if its RP has no problem

But I can not believe a qualified scholar would mention his high salary in his own resume.

I can not believe an excellent scholar would boast himself as among top 1% scholars. He has no data to support his conclusion.

I am sorry to say that he is just fighting for fame and money. I would more like to pursue my academic career under the guidance of a professor who can really sit down and do something, while not with someone who are just claiming how well known he is.

Do not be the shame of Chinese if you are.

别人根本没有在简历里面写工资 只不过帖子里面有人去查一下他的工资 在我们州美国的公立学校教授的工资是可以从州政府网站查出来的 相信在密苏里州也可以
那个NO1是由Journal of Product Innovation Management评出来的 又不是他自封的 被别人评为第一还能让别人写在简历上啊 这也成了华人的耻辱？

为什么总有些逻辑是这样的，一定要自己做到才能评论别人呢？难道人们还需要自己会下蛋才能说鸡蛋好不好吃？中国人的习惯就是谦虚，看别人吹一些不太和逻辑的牛总是不爽。拍拍又怎么了？一定要学老美把自己说的天花乱坠才是好的么？ Mitbbs没人拍这里就不能怕拍了？谁规定的？别人傻X自己也要跟着一起傻X么？再说了，确实也没听说过还有说哪个学者是TOP1的，又不是天下第一比武大会，开玩笑

I searched the web and got the salary information. Higher salary usually indicates better quality of scholarship. Given the good salary that Dr. Song commands, I think he is among the best in his field.
