之前一直都很喜欢这个学校，而且从views学长的帖子上也看到他家的就业很好，但是我是应届生，所以问了一些问题。我觉得他家人回复的超快，而且很耐心。我就在这里把这个email发出来，大家都看看。对于申请，自己的想法都比较有启示。 Thank you for your note and interest in Baruch’s Zicklin School of Business in New York City . (嗯，很礼貌) Last year we saw many applicants from China . Although many of the applicants had impressive academic and test records, one key ingredient was missing, work experience. （学业成绩和G,T考试成绩只是录取中的一个部分） We hope to see at least 1 year with MS Degree applicants. Many actually have 2 and more years. The combination of work experience and the advanced graduate degree is an excellent combination for employment opportunities in New York (and elsewhere). Many schools also believe an applicant who has actually engaged in the work place for an extended full-time period have a more genuine motivation and clearer ambitions on how the degree will help them in their careers. This clarity about career goals is a critical, and our most successful graduates came in with experience and great clarity about what they wanted to do with their degrees. （强调工作经验的重要性，以及有了工作经验，对于攻读master degree的就会有很清晰的career goal） Your internships certainly count and if you feel ready to apply I would encourage you to do so. What may prevent your consideration for this coming fall 2009 is your date of graduation. Our office will only finalize decisions on applicants who have a completed application, with supporting documents. If you graduating in June, your graduation will not be finalized in time to meet our April 30th deadline.
