The work market is getting more and more competitive these days. Every year, there’s at least 20 persent more people enter the work market. In ordert o attract more well qualified people to work for them, large companies promise to hire employees for entire life. That’s a good idea which benefits both the company and employees. But I think thre’s more problems behind the shining surface.
As there’s more people finding jobs outside, this method would certainly cause a harder situation for people hunting jobs. Also the education is getting better and better, there would be more and more people who’s well educated and full of social experience looking for jobs. They are young and energetic. They want to prove themselves so hard. These people received the most advanced education and live in the current world. They know everything better than thoses old workers. There’s also people who need a job to feed their family or to support themselves to go to school. If the company provide more entire ife employ opportunities, the less opportunities these people can get. And the employing problems, which is way more serious than before, can be even worse.
On the other hand, if the company provide entire life employs, some of the workers who’s enjoying this treasure will easily out of passion of working hard. Because there’s no pressure for them , they can get lazy quickly which is abusolutly not good for the company.
So I think provide dntire life employ opportunities can be a both sides coin. The best way to do could is to provide this chance to those who has been workin hard all the time, help the company achieved a lot and keep learning new knowledge. These people deserve it. This can also encourage other employees to work harder, the atmousphere can be competitive which would help the company grow. At the same time, the job would attract more and more well qualified people, and would help the problems of not employing get better. The youngs can get more oppotunites to prove themselves.
