Frankly speaking, I don't like to call my ex-employer tier-2. Admittedly, it is not as great as M/B/B, but still a great one. So technically, I would like to call it a leading consulting firm, or one of the top 5. Nevertheless, what happens in the forum, stays in the forum. The forum is meant to be a platform for ideas exchange and info sharing. If you don't agree with someone, you can try to argue in the forum, instead of taking actions outside of the forum. What I feel ashamed is that someone from my ex-employer will try to report what he reads in the forum to the supervisor so that he can get credit for his "loyalty". This is absolutely unacceptable. This consulting firm has played a critical role in my career and professional development. However, it also has quite a few "development needs". To be more open-minded and be nicer to juniors are on the list. None of the juniors, who joined the firm in the early days when it re-opened China office, is still with the firm. Some very good seniors turn to other career options. This tells us something, right? |
