也许有的人一看解释就明白,但是我看这个解释就犯傻了.

 因為as(介詞)+ 身分,but其下一句子中之動詞為過去式,所以可以得知此人必為former chair, 因此as+ the chair of ...即可, 若再加former 就會redundancy
