好难的文章！反复看都不知道他讲什么……
分析下原因:
1.重要的单词不会，如printine，stray，habitat
2.句子的长度和难度大，理解有困难，如 Low levels of straying are crucial, since the process provides a source of novel genes and a mechanism by which a location can be repopulated should the fish there disappear.
3.文章的整个结构为描述类型，没有什么态度词。之前做的题比较多是比较题，一般是总-分-总，分-总，总-分结构较多。而这个文章第一，第二段是平行的，第三段还稍微有点态度，且句子还比较难，看不太懂……
4.答案是文章句子的同义句，这就加大了做题难度，本来文章题目都较难理解，加上换了词语，就更难理解了。


解决方法：
看来要多做一些描述类型的文章，尤其是多长句的文章，提高理解水平才行了。

找出原因，对症下药，希望能进步，大家加油~

为什么GWD这么难- -...

我也觉得最后一题是选B。。。虽然我觉选C也有选C的理由。。。

但如果看第二段的中心句就会明白1980年的这个事件是用来说明      Large-scale disturbances in one locale also have the potential to alter the genetic structure of populations in neighboring areas 的

然后第三段的结尾，又提到这个影响Such a dramatic increase in straying from damaged areas to more pristine streams results in substantial gene flow, which can in turn lower the overall fitness of subsequent generations.

总之就是说明影响很严重，会导致其他habitat的鱼失去fitness，所以这个题应该是说作者想表明人类对于鱼的影响到了什么样的extent。。。


但是选C呢，Although no one has quantified changes in the rate of straying as a result of the disturbances caused by humans, there is no reason to suspect that the effect would be qualitatively different than what was seen in the aftermath of the Mount Saint Helens eruption

提到了no one has quatified the changes， 但是没有reason去suspect会qualitatively different。。。所以提供一个可以measure impact的方法也是有道理的。。。

所以最后悲剧的纠结在B 和 C了。。。= =
