读完博士后能不能进industry

As to industry alternative,  I guess most phds want to be faculties(at least before the third year) ,although the reality does not allow this to happen.

As to math skills,  I guess if you are not phds from math or equivalent major,  it is just neglectable.  If you got straght As, just be markov.

That is also what I want to say...

PhDs want to be faculties, while faculties positions are limited and there are heck lot of postdocs out there, competition is tough I believe.

Yes, I am pursuing pretty behavirol research with multi-or-inter disciplinary feature, so math may not be the main focus, while statistics and ecometric methods are more than necessary, maybe basic level is enough, I am not sure.
