Cornell的Human Resource专业全美第一，今年ILR找工作的势头比商学院强，呵呵。

我们两个学院的人经常一起参加招聘会，比如HP的HR就是在商学院开的宣讲会。

楼主，cornell偏好什么类型的学生？

我是8年外企IT行业工作经验（项目管理），GMAT670（比较可怜），不知道希望大不大？

这个问题不少人问过，说实话，我觉得cornell和其他top school相比在招人方面比较多样化：

我们今年大陆的同学有consulting, marketing，旅游管理的，台湾同学则几乎清一色的finance（基金，投行，trader,商业银行）。

所以，不见得什么样的背景就比其他的背景机会大或者小，这也是去年我申请的时候学校给我的答复。

至于分数，学校官方的说法是说不会设置底线，但很多申请人在竞争少数的名额，而中国人的Gmat平均分又比较高，所以至少这方面你是吃亏了。我还是那个建议，要么想办法在其他方面stand out，要么把分数再考高些。

I cannot say enough how much I appreciate you being here.  I just started to think about the Cornell program after a friend at Darden told me about the leadership program at Johnson.  Let me know your fees to join the clubs and I will be more than happy to chip in. 

I already saw many important questions touched, I have a few of my own.

A. How will Johnson see someone who did a start-up web advertising business at night while working at a Fortune 500 company full time?   

B.  How much will Johnson value teamwork, in the sense that I always tend to connect people together, especially Chinese, Indians, and Americans due to my unique bi-lingual background?  Should I reveal this in my essay or in the interview, stressing it as a key attribute of mine?

C. Networking.  I know Hans007 you mentioned that entrepreneurship is about finding the right network in your business sector.  So have you heard good things about the Cornell Entrepreneur Network (CEN)?

to 36th,回答你的问题前，需要说明的是，我们在这里发表的观点并不能代表学校官方意见的

A 如上所说，我不知道Johnson会怎么看，但我认为这是一个很好的经验，特别是你长期目标是创业的话。

B 这也是一个很好的经验，我个人认为你应该突出teamwork的。不止是Johnson，所有学校都需要知道你是一个good teamplayer。

C 我在前面提到过，EVC Club会经常组织MBA和其他学院有创业想法的人参加nerworking event，详情可以看这里：http://www.cornellevc.com/home 。这边有不少创业公司是MBA学生和技术背景的校友合办的，包括我现在在帮助做consulting服务的一家high tech公司。但我觉得中国人要在这边创业的话有一个工作签证的问题，这是很现实的。

不好意思，这个问题我也无法回答。我知道的是去年的申请人大增，cornell每一轮的面试都发得很慢，甚至有人在那一轮的decision deadline以后还收到面试。所以，稍安勿躁
