1.以你的背景，读AMBA以后进生物制药公司做general management应该很有机会，现在美国招人机会最多的就是这个行业了。我认识的一个AMBA在读的华人朋友(ABC)就是本科和硕士都是学生物的，现在拿到了Merck的marketing offer。

2.这个问题我也不好回答，而且我说的也不能代表学校官方意见，建议直接跟他们沟通，问问这样是否ok。

3.我记得不太清楚了，当初好像是填了yes。对录取和奖学金应该没有影响，奖学金是merit-based的。

真是好贴，正愁着没前辈请教呢！我是学公共事业管理的，打算毕业后到美国学酒店管理，目标Cornell。

在大学期间大一大二参加活动挺多，任职也较多，特长是主持和播音，有国际旅行社和普通话培训中心等机构的实习经验。有一篇调查报告可能会在近期发表，但是内容和酒店管理没什么关系。因为母亲有10多年酒店管理经验，对我的影响较大。

大学3年GPA可能有3.0，因为大一没太注意成绩，所以。。。现在正在埋头准备GMAT和TOEFL。我读的只是普通大学，不过在大学里我抓住各种机会学习进步，特别在与人交往方面我觉得自己做的还不错，我的真诚为我换来了很多好朋友，我能洞察到他人所需并乐意帮忙，同时能给身边的人很好的引导，也具有一定的管理协调能力，所以觉得自己比较适合酒店。

这是我的一个基本情况，请前辈指点。如果想进我梦寐以求的Cornell，我还需要从哪些方面提升自己。谢谢~

2) how abt Chinese students' internship?

Could you share a little bit more about the internship and job placement for year 1 and year 2 students? Besides IB and MC, do Johnson School's graduates see a lot opportunities in industry? Thanks a lot!

应大家要求，在此更新到目前为止的intern情况 （因为大陆同学只有三个样本太小，这里包括了台湾同学和一个新加坡同学，都是之前没有美国的学习和工作经验的）：

1. Morgan Stanley IBD (Singapre)
2. Merrill Lynch Equity Research (HK)
3. Deutch Bank Private Wealth Management (Shanghai)
4. BRV (the VC fund of Cornell) summer manager (Ithaca)
5. a private equity firm (shanghai)
6. a boutique investment bank (Beijing)
7  Changyou.com (silicon valley)

值得注意的是，以上同学只有两位是转行的，其他找的intern都是和之前的工作经历完全对口的。相信其他学校也是类似的情况，所以大家对于就业数据看看就行了，这个跟学校去年招人的背景有关。
