First, congratulations! In terms of the preparation, I can tell you the core course we took in the first semester:

Accounting, economics, marketing, finance, strategy, statistics

So you can find some of these books to read if you don't have relevant background.

Moreover, cornell will provide you a link of an online course: MBA math. Learn it thoroughly and do the practice will help.

Hans, thank you again! Could you please recommend a few book titles? I have no formal Business education background as I studied computer science in undergrad.

Just one question. I am going to target round4, which is a little bit late. But i still don't begin with Essays yet. Is it possible for international student to get an offer at round 4? seems that business school don't recommend international students to apply in round4.

It's not recommended for International students to apply at round 4 because of very few open slots left at that time. Moreover, you need enough time to apply your visa. But you may still have chance. You can ask the school for details.
