i have just been admitted by UT Austin and would like to see if you are familiar with the forte fellowship (based on your user id, i assume you are a girl)--i got an email saying that i am currently being considered for the forte fellowship and i would need to submit a candidacy essay by next thursday.  i just want to know how likely i will be getting the fellowship...thanks

Congratuations! I am not quite familiar with Forte Fellowship. My suggestion is that write a good essay and submit it as soon as possible. Then your odds to get the fellowship would be technically higher. I assume that you will get the fellowship anyway and the essay is just used to determine how much you will get. Just my guess...Good luck!!!

UT的奖学金不是不需要单独申请的吗？网站上说所有申请者都会被考虑奖学金。

UT填写ONLINE推荐信怎么会是在申请人submit之后呢？那我要是在deadline前一天提交，那学校才把推荐信的链接发给推荐人，那岂不是赶不及在deadline之前完成申请了？哪位知道情况的来给说说阿，谢谢！

that's why i am confused...wonder if essay matters at this point...but will give it a shot nevertheless...350 words, and i am asked to discuss my leadership experiences and why i think i can represent mccombs and the forte foundation (female mba's)

I think you are on the short list for the opportunity of this fellowship. That means you are considered one of the stronger applicants compared to other admitted students (female students, maybe)... Anyway, good news for you!

请问UT申请必须把official的成绩单邮寄到学校才行吗？如果是，一般都是用UPS之类的是吗？一般要多长时间才能到？现在寄round 2还来得及吗？

必须寄成绩单。

用国际快递，UPS或DHL，两至三个工作日即到！

In了,很开心:-)有人了解奖学金的事情吗？貌似email里说如果有的话还会有director发的单独mail,这个是什么时候发呢？很有可能会accept Austin的offer,所以要开始打听各种事项了：-）
