If ¼ of the larger of two numbers is greater than 5 times the smaller of the same two numbers, is the smaller number less than 4?

(1)   The larger number is greater than 70.

(2)   The larger number is less than 80.

 

這個敘述搞得我頭昏 ,請問到底有幾個數在做比較 ,還有答案為何為(B)  謝謝回答!!!

加入两个数是a和b，并且a>b，那么题目的意思就是说0.25a>5b，可以转换成a>20b

（1）a>70的话，无法限定b的区间

（2）a<80的话，就变成80>a>20b，所以b<4，所以选B

為什麼是the same two numbers 不是兩個不同的數比較嗎
