Do you agree or disagree with the following statement? Telephones and email have made communication between people less personal. Use specific reasons and examples to support your opinion.

When asked whether telephone and email have made communication between people less personal.Some people would say yes.the reason why they insist on such point is they think telephone can email make people do not want a face to face communication which is crucial to improve our relationship any more.On the other hand ,however,other people would have a totally opposite option.they deem that telephone and email make us connect with each other easier,so it is good to communicate.

 

First of all,undeniable,there some nonsignificant defects which can be regarded  when we use email or phone as our tool to chat with other.such as eye connection.For example,people will have a lot of eye-communications when they talk to each other face to face,you are able to know others feeling through his or her eyes.But in telephone,all you can do is just tell someone the truth without caring about listener’s feeling.Another dismerits is respect.For instance,people will feel they are well respected when you talk to them face to face,when you ask somebody to do something with telephone or email,they will feel you are very rude and do not want to help you.However,However,on no account can we omit the twosideness of one business.

 

Considerable though the merits that chatting with other face to face enjoys are,they can not compete with the benefits that communicating with telephone or email bring about,if the following virtues are taken into consideration.It is apparent that the edges are overwhelming.one of which is convenice.In other words,the modern technology make our communication more easier.For example,you can keep in touch with your family everyday when you are aboard using telephone or email and this is unrealistic in the past.as we know the more frequenly we communicate with our family the more harmonious the relationship in the family between us is.So the negative effects of telephone and email can be compensated.

 

Another  ascendant is people can use telephone and email to express their feeling which is hard to do so face to face.For example,if you are courting someone and want to tell him or her how you feel.Sending an email is a wonderful choice.besides,writing a letter can make your words more logical and glamorous .So when we take into accounts these determinants metioned above that can effect our decision .what is the use of thinking email and telephone inhabit our communication?

 

In conclusion,for what has been discussed above,we may safely draw that email and telephone make our communication more personal.becasue it make people willing to communicate,In addition,they give people a chance to express their deep feeling.Despite there are some drawbacks such as respect or eye contaction .To my way of thinking ,obviously the strongpoints should be the most significant goals to consider,So finally,if I have a chance to choose between communicating with telephone or email and communicating face to face.I would select the former one withour hesitation.
