From the oberservation of my classmates, those who with revelant experiences, including big 4, are really popular in HK and able to land jobs at so called big names, positions from first yr associate to 3rd yr analyst.  One thing to add almost 70% of my classmates went financial services and I guess at least one third succuessfully switch to this filed from engineers, supply chain, non profit and etc.

class 2008 graduate and for more info please refer to program website.  Again, what i am trying to say that with career interest in financial service and  revelant background,  you dont really have go all the way to US spending big bucks.  HKUST MBA will be a more cost effective option.  All top tier IBs will conduct recuritment talk on campus therefore a great chance to meet them.

True.  financial accouting knowledge is the basic when doing financial modelng and valuation analysis.  Not only favorable by IBD but PE firms.  These are what i noticed from my class but it does not apply to all.

看到全球经济不好，尤其是金融业，感觉还是中欧毕业后选择的路比较多。

我感觉国内和香港这两个job market还是有很大的区别的，从行业构成，职能、技能及语言要求等等方面吧，还是有不同的定位的。这对申请人的未来就业有很大的影响。所以，在选择申请或者接受Offer之前，最重要的还是要想清楚自己毕业后到底要做什么。这个清楚了，申请的效率就自然提高了。

两年以后市场也许会变化啊 中欧的金融也太弱了 但是不知道HKUST的金融到底什么状态 感觉基本上也进不了投行 如果只是一流商行或者二流VC 那中欧也可以的
