香港科大MBA如何

首先，科大因为交换的缘故，超过一半人是正式毕业了之后才开始找工作的

其次，找得早， 远远不等于 找得好

事实上很多签得早的都很后悔咧

所谓艺高人胆大

很多相当好的工作都是很晚才签的

比如我们大牛的shiyang师姐就等到年后拿到觉得最合适的工作才签

再比如我所知道的最后一个找到工作的去了JP Morgan

我也很想问楼上问过的问题,科大比起香港中文大学的MBA如何?上次招生咨询会上问过中大的admission officer ,回答是香港的其他学校在career support上和中大有很大差距,是这样么?个人满倾向于中大的,不知道各位意见如何!!

career support? i would say all depend on your personal efforts because recuriters wont look at how good career officers are but MBAs candidates.  What you should care is which firms will stop by your campus and hire through your career office.  One thing to share, from 2007 citi hire around 7-10 interns from HKUST into their summer internship program.

据我了解，香港的MBA进投行恐怕比较困难，每年应该没几个，花旗JPMORGAN之类的招实习，基本上是商业银行部门在招。

同意，香港的MBA进投行很难

进投行即使对欧美的Top 10也同样不是容易的事

尤其是对之前没有Finance背景和经验的

但我可以自信地说

科大是亚太商学院里进投行机会最多概率最大的

确实如此！ 找工作说到底还是个人的事啊。Career office会有很多的招聘信息，会有一些培训，指导和分享会，会找校友进行指导，也会给学生报销部分去net working的费用，但无论如何去考试面试的还是个人阿！另外，很多大的投行和咨询公司的职位信息可能并不通过Career office传递，这也需要自己去关注。

虽然我们刚入学还不到1个月，但Career Office已经帮大家修改了简历准备印发Resume book，开了Career info session, 并且开始对同学进行个别的谈话和辅导，还找了2年级的同学进行经验分享。同时，Career office还专门请了EQ方面的专家在月底对大家进行培训，提高工作中的EQ水平。目前我感觉，他们的工作是很努力的，服务也比较全面。

i dont know where your information comes from, maybe herad from your friends, friends of friends or something?  Have you ever tried to justify the accurance of it?  Also, do you really think MBAs are the target group of commercial banking during talents recuritment?  If you are talking about HK, most of us (non-locals) dont speak cantonese so that we wont be considered at any postion in commercial banking side.

Citi hired us from global markets, global banking to global transactions.

For JP M, do they have any branch (commercial banking) in HK?

I dont know what you are trying to prove or your intention by say these, but it is misleading people.

it is hard to get in IBD in bulge bracket for HK MBA. but much easier for MBA from HBS, Wharton, Chicago and Columbia.

According to your thoughts HKUST is able compare with HBS, Wharton, GSB and CBS in IB jobs placement.  This is a good justification for those who was misleading by previous posts.

From the oberservation of my classmates, those who with revelant experiences, including big 4, are really popular in HK and able to land jobs at so called big names, positions from first yr associate to 3rd yr analyst.  One thing to add almost 70% of my classmates went financial services and I guess at least one third succuessfully switch to this filed from engineers, supply chain, non profit and etc.
