我的疑问：

1.在A中when从句的主语是什么？即如何找when状语从句的主语？

2.E中，compared with 20 percent in 2000是什么语法成分？ －ed过去分词做状语，表示伴随状态，逻辑主语为主语主语groud？？

1.如果when compared...放句首 句子逻辑主语就是从句的主语 放后面嘛...不是很清楚 如果还是句子的主语的话那就是this group好像不能比较的吧

2.是分词修饰35 percent，省略了compared with 20 percent (of the population)in 2000，之所以之前加逗号是为了避免compared去修饰popluation的歧义吧

这里有个问题就是 是不是这样加了逗号，分词就可以跳跃修饰?

当我们把COMPARED WITH..放在句首的时候。要求比较对象对等。

像这道题目，如果把COMPARED WITH ,放在句首，变成

COMPARED WITH 20% IN 2000,35% OF THE OPULATION IS MADE UP THE GROUP in 1910.这样才比较对象对等．

而这句话，把the group作为主语，所以，compared with 不能放在句首，只能放在句尾，用来修饰35% of the population.而这里的compared with 就不再是状语放在句首修饰主语了，应该是 做定语修饰35% of the population.

个人看法。

请问， A选项错误是否因为when compared to 结构不如compared with好啊？

compare to 是比喻成的意思，比较应该用compare with 所以可以排除A
