我的改错心得,希望能给在困境中挣扎的同学一点点帮助

改错的第一个阶段是语法错误,但现在考的不仅是语法,因为语法错误是最基本的错误,真正的难题在于逻辑错误,逻辑其实是个很泛泛的概念不仅仅包括语意上的通顺,很重要的还有包括修饰上的逻辑,比较常见的包括:

1..时间/地点状语的变化,有开始的修饰某个关键词变成修饰整个句子(原句本来强调一个发生在…年的地震,改成在….发生了修饰全句,在那年发生了….,顺带提了一下地震)

2.原来从属修饰的变成了并列修饰,(原句 received the unqualified support of labor-->receive consistent and unqualified support by labor错)

3.原来句子强调的重心的变化,(一个…样的人,得了…奖,强调的是她/他得了…奖,但改成她/他是个…人(比如小说家等))

4.时间顺序的颠倒,(在…出生,在…生活了一段时间,在…取得了…成就-->把出生等放在句子后面)

5.固定语法/词组的打乱(一个固定词组把动词和本应和该动词紧紧连接的介词之间强行插入了一段名词/词组等Most of Portugal’s 250,000 university students boycotted classes in a one-day strike to protest a law that requires them to contribute $330 a year toward
        the cost of higher education, instead of the $7 per year required previously,这道题就是明显的year, compared to the previously $7 per year, toward the cost of higher education 错!)

6.单词意思的差异(OG上地震的题:damage or destroy-->or 变成and错! 还有The health benefits of tea have been the subject of much research; besides possibly preventing or inhibiting
                    some forms of cancer, the brewed leaves of Camellia sinensis may also play a role in reducing the risk of heart disease and stroke.or 变成and错!)

7.强调程度发生了变化(双重否定变成肯定,全否定变成部分否定(none of …-->fewer…错))

8.情态动词的变更(may-->will or possible etc.)

9. 多个形容词修饰一个名词引起的歧义(more【fuel-efficient small】cars; 【more fuel-efficient small cars】)

以上才是改错真正困难的地方,因为以上方面从语法角度来看是找不出问题的,但不代表句子没有问题

具体对应方法是把自己要选的选项和选项A作一下对比,看看以上有哪些不同,但事事无绝对,虽然大多数情况A选项已经界定好了以上的内容,但也很有可能 本身A就是也有逻辑错误的(换句话说,A选项更多的是语法上的错误.个人心得)

我再把CD上没有解释,至少没有定论的题给一些曾经和我一样迷茫的同学一点提示:

GWD26-Q20

In 1981 children in the United States spent an average
        of slightly less than two and a half hours a week doing
        household chores; by 1997 they had spent nearly six hours a week.

A.      chores; by 1997 they had spent nearly six hours
        a week

B.       chores; by 1997 that figure had grown to nearly
        six hours a week

C.      chores, whereas nearly six hours a week were
        spent in 1997

D.      chores, compared with a figure of nearly six hours a week in 1997

E.       chores, that figure growing to nearly six hours a week in 1997

CDE看到in 1997就排除了。by 1997指1981-1997这个时间段，也解释了为什么用过去完成时。in 1997把原文意思都改变了B中,BY THE 1997,意思是这个事一直到1997年,它从1981年到1997年,这个数据是从过去一直保持增长到1997的,大家要清楚过去完成时,过去完成时表示到过去某时刻为止,已经完成了的事.
表示过去某一时刻的短语,多由介词BY引出,说明时间的截止.

*****这道题还考到了一个知识点,分号,分号后面要接完整的句子,A选项后面spend是及物动词,要接宾语,A缺少宾语

*****这个也是倒装,正常顺序应该是Nearly 99 percent of  the five hundred million different species of living creatures that have appeared on Earth have vanished.

所以有个选项Of the five hundred million different species of living creatures that have appeared on Earth, nearly 99 percent (of them)have vanished.是错的,和上面的题比较,就是差在逗号上,有了逗号是半倒装.,没有逗号是全倒装

所以有个选项Of the five hundred million different species of living creatures that have appeared on Earth, nearly 99 percent (of them)have vanished.是错的,和上面的题比较,就是差在逗号上,有了逗号是半倒装.,没有逗号是全倒装

关于a的用法

同时强烈鄙视那些考完卖资料的人,论坛上只问不答的人.尤其可恶的是我碰到一个xxx的家伙在淘宝上卖材料,为了让人家买他的材料他竟说:GWD,PREP的知识点只是650分的.....我真是....总之,只要大家用心钻研,相信即使吃透了OG也可考到700+甚至更高,不要随便买太多材料,根本没用,也没时间看.我现在刘振民语法看完一遍,白勇语法看完2遍,OG及补充材料看完3遍,GWD看完2遍,PREP看完1遍,看了这些还是PREP的解释最好(PREP破解版语法注释分析2007816),真的,相信我,论坛上就可以下载.最后,祝大家都考出好成绩

对啦，LZ你考了没？能否请教下，您是怎么复习CR部分，感觉自己这部分一直提高不来，有什么比较好的方法，谢谢

我还没考,定在10月8日香港.所以我还没有把我所有的资料都贴出来,因为我觉得一个分数800的人,就是胡言乱语也有一大堆人捧场(当然只是打个比方,当然不会有这种情况),但一个人如果因为运气等原因考的分数不高,无论他说的如何有道理,大家也是一听罢了,所以我希望我可以考个高的分数然后尽量分享一些我的经验,帮助一些和我一样笨的人少走弯路,因为我本身底子很差,学的很苦,太了解备考中的艰辛了

至于逻辑我就是把所有的GWD & PREP & OG & 狒狒宝典上的逻辑都弄明白了,如果不会就问吧,如果在我列出范围内,我觉得98%我还是可以解答的,但超出这个范围恐怕我帮不上忙.其中,论坛有个同学贴出的GWD逻辑分类,我觉得对我帮助很大,你可以借鉴一下.其次,我有一点要强调,所谓逻辑不会,不是你真的想不明白(当然也有的题的确挺绕),但我可说你60%以上不会的原因是句子没理解:

consist almost exclusively of protein	几乎全是蛋白质，这里exclusively -->only,merely
disinterested devotion	无私的投入
hoary stereotype	陈词滥调; hoary 旧到发白
majority stockholder	大股东,不是大多数的股东
merit further study	值得进一步研究

persist over time	不会因时间消失
qualify the extent to which...	划清界限
reproductive restraint	生育禁止
severance pay/package	解雇费; severance 断句;sever 切断 v.; server 服务器
the last scheduled day	公司给员工安排的最后一个工作日,终止日期
third through sixth notes                         of the diatonic scale (the seven-note musical scale)	(7个音阶中的)第三到第六个音阶
woman voted less frequently than men(the different narrowing the longer women had the vote)	女人的投票权获得的越晚，她们的投票踊跃性越差；而拥有投票权时间越长的妇女，她们的投票优越性的差距与男人越小

这些是我在学习中当时遇到觉得的比较难的句子,严重影响了我的判断理解,看看你是不是也和我的问题一样.
