ING's talent program

anybody ever heard this program and can share any information, such as its career potential, rewards, working environment, location...??

Yes,two days ago I received a phone interview from this program

there are two streams of these program

1,general management

2,functional management

and you will have two or three years international rotation in europe,aisa pacific and america

major requirements:

·   Masters / MBA with to 1-3 years work experience
            

·   Proficiency in English with the ability to communicate at the Executive level
            

·   Have demonstrated leadership, communication and analytical skills

I have been phone interviewed by this program two days ago

some info about this program

General Management Program (GMP)

For this program we are looking at developing business managers and future general manager with a cross-functional business focus. 

The term for this program is 3 years with 4 international rotations (i.e. 1x ING Australia, 2x ING Asia Pacific, and 1 x ING Group (Europe or America’s).

Functional Management Program (FMP)

For this program we are looking at developing functional specialists and future functional leaders.

The term for this program is 2 years with 3 international rotations (i.e. 1x ING Australia, 1x ING Asia Pacific, and 1 x ING Group (Europe or America’s)).

Both of these Programs will be commencing in January 2009, with their first rotation in Australia.

To be successful for these Programs you will need the following;

·   Masters / MBA with to 1-3 years work experience
            

·   Proficiency in English with the ability to communicate at the Executive level
            

·   Have demonstrated leadership, communication and analytical skills
            

·   Have a global mindset and are able to geographically relocate throughout Australia, Asia,   Europe and America’s within a 2-3 year period.
            

·   Have a passion for working in a dynamic team, have can-do attitude, and be results     orientated.

So, what's the salary package during and after the programme?

I know that HSBC group provides no more than USD1K to their trainee per month. It will be too low for an MBA.

HSBC has more than one trainee program.  What you describe is the most entry-level one, typically not targeted at global MBA graduates but local under/master graduates (by the way, even for the entry one, the will provide certain allowance when they are trained outside the home country)

the most attractive point in ING for me is the 2-3 years international rotation. However, i've almost started my career in sh with my graduate degree. I was recently considering whether to take a risk and to apply for master for the ING program.
