that应该是作为关系副词，这时候它的作用类似于when, where等；

至于为什么C可以造成这样的理解而B没有，我觉得关键是在于that orbit each other和that each orbit the other；感觉以that作为主语后，限定性更强烈了。但是这样只是感觉好像没有理论依据，请大牛继续指点！

不是牛牛啊。偶觉得tha从句是同位语从句修饰two stars。

个人意见。牛牛指正哦。

同位语从句对前面的被修饰词没有要求吗？我看张道珍语法说：idea,  fact, rumour news,hope belief,thought,doubt 等词后面可以用同位语从句修饰，没有提到其他的词。
