答案是E ,我选的D， 我想问一下这里的where用错了么？where从逻辑上推可不可以知道interaction？因为我觉得原句的意思主要是用从句来修饰interaction， 如果是E的话，从句就用来修饰stars了。请nn们给解释一下D的语法错误在哪里？

where的先行词必须是实实在在的地方 不能是抽象名词

我觉得d的逻辑毅丝根本不make sense啊

LS解释不准确，where的先行词可以是抽象名词，但从本句句子逻辑结构上看，从句each is orbiting the other不缺地点状语，所以不能用where来引导定语从句。而且时态没必要是进行时态。 从句子意思看E选项 orbiting each other 作定语修饰two stars 是比较符合逻辑的。

kiwi~jhanas也许是不小心说错了，但是where在gmat中确实只能引导地点位置，不知道你在哪里看到它的先行词可以是抽象Noun呢？可否举例？

我这里恰好有个例句：
What he likes best about painting is its contrast to opera, where the challenge is to use one's talents to bring to life the works of others.
这句中，where指代了 opera, 而opera 不是一个表示实实在在地点的名词。但这里where 用的最恰当。

还有个句子。
Now the tide appears to be turning. As personal iujury claims continue as before, some courts are beginning to side with defendants, especially in cases where a warning label probably wouldn't have changed anything.
这句话中，我觉得除了where 外，没有其他词可以指代cases 了。

以上类似的例句还有很多，我看就不需要一一列举了吧。
