我刚刚递交了R2的申请，忽然想到一个问题。Wharton申请是只有self-reportGMAT和T的成绩，然后如果录取了再寄official成绩报告,对吗？我理解的是这样，希望没有错了。麻烦告知一下，谢谢。

Not exactly. Your official reports should be sent to Wharton by GMAC and ETS before application deadline. If you cannot make it before deadline, you should explain in your additional essay and ask GMAC and ETS to send your official reports ASAP. However this is last year's requirement. Don't know whether policy changes this year. Good luck!

But how can I confirm that Wharton got my G/T official reports? There is nowhere on the app page to show this status.

Question about Sales & Trading / Investment Management career for Wharton students:

If someone is looking to become a corporate credit trader and later on a hedge fund manager, would Wharton give adequate academic preparation?

My impression is that Chicago goes much more in depth in term of market finance (S&T, Quant strategies, risk management) while Wharton has an edge on corporate finance (M&A, P/E, IB). However it's undeniable that Wharton also has an edge on reputation and alum network and produce better leaders/general managers.

Does anyone know a Wharton grad in S&T that I can speak with? I am slotted for interview for R2.

Take a look at the finance faculty here and you will realize Wharton has an edge in any finance subject.  If you want to be a good trader, you don't need an MBA.

I am very interested in life at Wharton. I am wondering whether you can briefly introduce the lifestyle at Wharton/Penn/Philadephia. What attract you most about living in Phily city? How about the cohension of Wharton community?

Just to clarify. When you select schools to receive reports, nothing is
actually 'sent'. The GMAT and TOEFL services simply allow the schools
to access your information via their central servers. That makes it
easier than the admissions office receiving information from multiple
sources about you. Instead, they simply go and check every applicant's
GMAT score at the same time.

Oh and btw, a poster above is right in assuming that Wharton only requires you to self-report. You only actually have to send your GMAT scores AFTER you are admitted, during the verification process.

Don't worry, you don't have to do anything further regarding your scores right now!

想请问一下,因为我是已婚人士,如果到wharton读书,学校允许配偶陪读吗?学校的中国学生有陪读这种情况吗?

一般是两人可以一起过去,还是说配偶只能等录取人安定下来才能过去

大概需要什么手续呢?

Your spouse can definitely come with you and you are free to choose the timing. A lot of students at Wharton are living with their spouses and partners can join Partners club to explore the city/get to know other people's partners/volunteer for community work, etc.
