For interview(on-campus or alumni) conducted in the US, I heard that the admission committee may begin to review your application, once the interview is done(instead of reviewing all applicants all together between 12/04/08 to 12/22/08). There is no advantage in terms of which type of interview you do. Also there are many other metrics of diversity (gender, professional background, educational background, age, etc) so I wouldn't worry about thinking which 'applicant pool' you fall into. For the purposes of reporting, however, Wharton reports Chinese passport holders in the US as exactly that: Chinese citizens. -Jason

I would think they're making decisions on the fly. They've done this for many years and know what kind of applicant they're looking for. Either way, all applicants will only know simultaneously on the decision date, so it shouldn't affect you either way.

请问沃顿网上填表时那些职位描述和社会活动等一般要写多少啊？都留了上千字的容量，如果只是简单罗列的话几句就写完了，要展开的话似乎又和essay里的内容重复了。。。

简单。那是最多字母，不是理想的字母。不要重复essay里的内容。
