由于有两种答案之前都有讨论过，想请这个月考过的nn投票一下，在考试时你选B或D??

 

Some species of Arctic birds are threatened by recent sharp increases in the population of snow geese, which breed in the Arctic and are displacing birds of less vigorous species.  Although snow geese are a popular quarry for hunters in the southern regions where they winter, the hunting season ends if and when hunting has reduced the population by five percent, according to official estimates.  Clearly, dropping this restriction would allow the other species to recover.

不过我觉得是B,因为sharp increase,注意是sharp increase

应该是B。题目中说是近期的sharp increase，但是B选项说很久以前就禁猎了。所以禁猎与近期的sharp increase之间没有必然的联系。那么开放禁猎也不会收到效果了。

B的意思是什么呢？

如果我没有理解错，禁猎使狩猎期提前结束（打够数了，不能再打了），那不尽了，不就可以多打一些么？led to 是什么意思呢

如果B的意思是，即使有禁猎人们也没打多少，达不到限额，那则是weaken

考试的时候选B啊

快速阅读后这道题说了两件事情: A snow geese 危害到了Arctic birds; 政府对A snow geese狩猎的规定

推理是 取消规定能够缓解Arctic birds的危机,选项中提到这两件事情的就只有 A和B,A和题目给出的条件反了,所以是B

D 无关

选B，第二个意思是对的，scheduled date是the hunting season ends if and when hunting has reduced the population by five percent
