问题是,THAT从句应该是修饰PROGRESS还是devastation and enslavement?

我倾向Ｅ,decimate的动作发出者不是progress

如果是progress即Ａ的话，句意就变成了Columbus将其破坏与奴役人性化，以一种进步的名义，这种进步就是屠杀土著人，明显句意不通

而限定性定语从句的先行词用定冠词限定也应该是合理的

不好意思，想借一下这版的人气。。一般问题发去语法区都没有回应的。。

我本来也是坚定的选e，但是今天又看到tony大牛的笔记里写that/which就近原则，这个that到底能不能跳呢。

同样，which后面的动词形式如果和前面的名词单复数不一致，是不是就可以跳跃指代？
