Ethanol fuel is an alternative to gasoline. It is good or
not, in the reading it is not good, but in listening it is good.

    

In the reading: not good

    

(1)    
it is not beneficial to the
environment, because it also release the carbon dioxide to atmosphere as
gasoline does.

    

(2)    
It will reduce the food supply
because it is product from plant.

    

(3)    
It cannot compete in the price
of gasoline without tax subsidies from government.

    

In the listening

    

(1)    
The carbon dioxide released by
using ethanol fuel will provide a source for plant during night, the plant will
absorb carbon dioxide to produce oxygen and so on. In this way, the amount of
carbon dioxide in the atmosphere will be decreased.

    

(2)    
The part used for producing the
ethanol fuel that the animals usually do not eat. So it can not reduce the
supply of animals.

    

(3)    
If the production are
increased, the price of ethanol fuel will drop, so that many people can use it.

letter says that the lobby is good place for student art display, because there
are o lot of people going through there, and there has a glass window which is
good for exhibiting the art.

    

Listening),

    

(1)it is not a
good place, there usually are crowed, when you are appreciating the art
display, it is easily to be blocked by the passing person and to distract.

    

(2)Watching the
art display through the glass will influence the image of painting behind the
glass, because the light is not natural, should be adjusted same level all the
time.

examples, one is the speaker’s childhood that he liked to watch TV show, play
games, some toy behind. Another is his 7 years old daughter, she has a toy dog,

natural light is not very good because it is too strong when sunshine
and too weak when cloudy. Should use controled constant light sources.

speaker watched action shows and played games when he was young. When
the characters or hero' figures (toy) came out to market , he bought
immediatly because he knew them well.

His daughter has a toy doll with brown eyes and curlling hair. she
liked it, when the TV show about the barby came, she was so excited

so babies cry because they feel empathy of others. They concern about others.
