各位前辈请帮我看看Moody's KMV公司的情况

各位前辈请帮我看看Moody's KMV公司的情况

感谢前辈们之前的建议,我暂时决定先去找工作了.

最近在深圳,已经买好明天去北京的车票了,在水木上看到Moody's KMV深圳分公司的招聘,招聘不少技术背景但需要金融知识的人,和我的it背景比较符合,

本来明天上午就要去北京了,现在想考虑是不是留在深圳应聘这个公司了.

•    BA/BS Computer Science, Finance, or technical degree from a top institution.  Masters in Computer Science a plus.

•    Superb analytical skills and persistence in problem solving.

Position Summary:

As a Data Operations Associate, you will be part of our Content Group that is responsible for managing the critical processes that ensures the accuracy and

timely delivery of vital financial data that is linked to our industry-standard credit risk measurement tools and related software applications.

Primary Responsibilities:

•    Manage and execute the monthly data processing and calculations that feeds our credit risk measurement and management products.
•    Identify, research, analyze and resolve issues involving financial data discrepancies or errors during our daily and monthly data processing and

calculations.
•    Provide internal support to Moody's KMV staff regarding daily and monthly data processing and calculations.
•    Work with other teams such as Research, IT support, and application development to resolve any data processing or client issues.

Minimum Qualifications:

•    Bachelor degree in Information Technology, Operations Management/ Engineering or equivalent with exposure to finance and economics.  Or 2+ years

of work experience within a data management and operations function.
•    Fluent in spoken and written English.
•    Proficient in SQL (Sybase, Microsoft SQL Server, SAS).
•    Proficient in MS Access, MS Excel. Proficient in DOS command scripts.
•    Exposure/Proficiency to Java, C++ or Visual Basic.
•    Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
•    Detail-oriented and ability to immediately apply what is learned.
•    Superb analytical skills and persistence in problem solving.
•    Excellent organizational skills.
•    Familiarity with equity and fixed-income markets is a plus.

Position Summary:

Support our clients in the implementation and application of MKMV's credit
risk technology solutions. Ensure that our products and technology are used
effectively and appropriately to add value to our clients' businesses.

Minimum Responsibilities:

•    Interact with client via the website, email, telephone, and face to  face around product features, functionality, and application.
•    Triage and escalate requests appropriately while maintaining ownership of client interaction.
•    Identify, capture, and channel client feedback on product features and functionality to our Product Managers.
•    Originate content for our customer Knowledge Base.
•    Provide constructive feedback to the sales and training groups  regarding training needs.
•    On-site product use training.

Minimum Requirements:

•    Bachelor degree in Computer Science or equivalent; Finance and/or Accounting degree or background preferred.
•    Exposure to financial / commercial banking industry is a plus.
•    Basic Database knowledge including queries, database concepts, etc.
•    Familiar with navigation of MS Windows environment.
•    Working knowledge of Windows based software (Excel, Access, Word, etc.)

这家公司是穆迪的全资自公司,是技术主导的,我英语比较好,技术底子还在,有一定金融知识,感觉自己的背景还算符合,可以试试.

但我比较担忧在深圳工作之后申请mba的情况,毕竟北京对比较熟悉, 那边金融环境可能也好些,对公司很不了解,前辈们快现身阿!

What offers do you have in Beijing? If you don't have one yet, why not give it a try?

But be prepared, Moody is a very good company and it is not easy to get hired.

ibanking您好, 我感觉自己比较适合于作销售,所以想试试外资银行的工作,然后作销售,之后看看凯捷毕博埃森哲这样公司的机会,金融行业是他们的大的客户,积累经验后再申请mba.但深圳金融环境好像不如北京吧,也没有什么咨询公司.

我对自己的定位是可以去做sales,管理咨询这类的工作,因为比较喜欢和人打交道;

1.这是穆迪的一家子公司,是技术中心,和穆迪评级还是不一样的吧.

2.但考虑这家公司还是和资本市场有关的,不知道对自己之后作ib有多大帮助.

深圳不大,我都想直接去公司看看了.

刚跑去公司看了一下,了解了公司功能就开发信用风险管理方案和对亚太区的客户进行技术支持,是一个IT公司.

hr说目前适合的职位有 Data Operations Associate这一个,但还不清楚这个职位具体做什么的.说需要比较强的技术背景.那可真不是我想干的阿.

明天上午11点火车了,今晚再想想吧.
