[求助]og11-59宾语从句还是名词短语？

非难题。但有几个疑问。

（1）existed in ...areas, 因为now 和currently两个副词同意而redundant，去掉now， existed in currently temperate areas应该没问题吧？

选项设置里用动词时态排除了AD，剩下的BCE全部用宾从表示的。当然，只有B正确。感觉ets认为这里用一个宾从更好，如果用名词做介宾就ok的话，何必多此一举用从句？不知道这么理解对不对。

（2）副词修饰谁，以及与其修饰对象的位置关系问题。

og对（E）错的分析是：Now is an adverb and should be placed just after the verb are.我的理解是，now的确要在are后没错，关键问题是必须在temperate之前，因原句修饰关系是adv+adj+n。所以now是必须在temperate之前，和verb没什么关系。如果按照E的placement，now作为副词，就是就近修饰existed in areas，有歧义，或者说改变原句修饰关系。

（3）in which 和when引导定从修饰时间性名词，og明白说了，至少在修饰an age时，可互换。

所以这个不同，并非用于排出选项的主考点？

以上不知道理解的对不对。希望大家讨论下。。

恩，即便后面使用的短语area, area 之后也是需要一个定语从句来修饰它的。

对于Lz的看法（１），我觉得不对。what are now,强调了are, 与A选项中的had existed对照，existed in currently temperate areas不妥。
